It’s Not Life, It’s Living!

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past” – F. Scott Fitzgerald

Life isn’t meant to be easy, it’s meant to be lived; sometimes happier and other times rough. But with every ups-down we learn lessons and grow better. I believe a good life is when you assume nothing, and do more. I read a quote few days before which said, “Sometimes I just wish that I could fast forward time, just to see if it’s all worth it in the end.” – Well, I ask why? I mean, will you really rush for things you wanted to last forever?

Sometimes we just need to slow down our speed and remain calm. Live. Let Life Happen. Focus on small yet important things and then see how much you have accomplished. When things turn out naturally, they are better.  We all take our blues differently! I am sure of one thing which is that we become what we dwell on. We are always accountable for our intentions and their outcomes, and I guess that is all we have.

It is usually told to us that we are the creators of our life, so if we don’t like it we are the only who can change it. People are way better not making decisions out of fear. I think what is more impressive in any human being is strength of character which comes from surviving failure and loss. At some point of time or in regular intervals, we are going to lose ourselves but try coming back. The worst thing that can ever happen is actually you running out of time to do the thing that your heart ever longed you for.

Some of us have lost our ways, whilst others did found light in dark, however, we are all dreamers and way capable to do extraordinary things. You know all those things you’ve always wanted to do? You should go DO THEM! After All, it is living … YOUR STORY!

Regret, mistakes, past stories, break-ups, and every messed angle of your life is actually a chief beauty about time. Embrace both your darkness and lights. Just don’t lose that “muchiness” of yours. I recently had a realization, that an elephant has not really bitten many but everyone definitely has once been bitten by a mosquito; so, lesson learnt is that its little things that gets us.

Nothing will change if you believe your suffering is more important than what change has to offer you.

Here is the real problem; we let anyone’s opinion whether good or bad overpower our beliefs and then we complain why do humans judge? Technically, the amount of work is same in making yourself miserable or strong.

Our ‘extreme’ anxious self does not come from thinking a lot of future, but from wanting to control it. If I could do it over, I wouldn’t change a thing in my life. Because everything that’s happened has brought me here, it is my story. Now, I have learned (the hard way) that some poems don’t rhyme; and some stories don’t have a perfect beginning or end or even the middle. Life is all about staying in the very “NOW” without knowing what is going to happen next. Plan but don’t force. They say what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. I don’t agree to it. I believe that things that try to kill you makes you angry and heartbroken. Your actual power comes from the good ‘things’: your family, friends, gratification and contentment of work that you are doing. Those things make you complete. Don’t get worked up over things you can’t change and people you can’t change. Holding on is a tough job, one should carry out only when you know it is all worth in the end. Be patient and keep calm to re-engineer your mind set; control only what you can. Everything Else… Let Go! Not all ‘things’ are relevant!

What is more important is to have a good laugh at your life story, realizing how far you have come, compare your teenage version in a photograph and look at yourself today.  That is the point of life – few people to share emotions with, a fair career, and ambitions to make it bigger and not quitting on self any day.

Ever have of those days where you just can’t win?

Life to me is a journey of the moon; we must go through phases of emptiness to be full again. I know some days are just so hard but there is always hope in tomorrow. Today, it may be one of those days for you where you are hurt physically, emotionally, or mentally. Well if I put it in my favorite word formations; I will say it is one of those days when even my coffee needs coffee.

Maybe it is difficult but some walks we have to take alone. I know it does get cruel sometimes even so you must understand that to heal a wound you have to stop touching it and the logic applies to ‘one of those days’ or ‘not in mood days’ as well. If you feel you did something wrong, own up to what you didn’t do right and that is how you learn and earn respect within self too. Every so often we create a lot of troubles by either over-thinking or expectations. Well, it is not easy to detach from work commitments or people you love but at times it is necessary in order to restore your sanity, your mind and have peace.

With time, it does get harder for everyone to let it go, in spite of that when you do move on – you will realize it was the best decision you have ever made. Remember what Pooh the Beer said to Snoopy, You Live Everyday and Die Only Once!

You become a force when you accept what you are, admit your flaws, your actions and most importantly love yourself in the process of becoming.

Have Faith in Soul, Hope in Mind and Love in Heart! Have your own share of falling, rising, making mistakes, hurting and learning stories. It is all in mind; replace the word of being “brave always” with being “okay” or “happy”?  Not every day has to be a battlefield; someday it can be a rest day too!

To Everything, I’ve Ever Lost!

“The Trouble is You Think You Have Time” – Buddha

Life is a series of surprising and inevitable changes. We all feel lost sometimes. There are many decisions we have to make in life, so many responsibilities to cope up with, so much of the pressure we feel on how society questions our existence; our strength can sometimes become so clouded. As human beings, we want to know answers to all the questions, but I believe our lives don’t really work that way.

We worry about tomorrow…. Like it’s promised!

The best day of your life is going to be the one when you decide that it is on your own. You alone are responsible for the quality of it. There is no one to motivate, lean on or even blame too; for life becomes a gift which you embrace and it is going to be the best day of your life! It is the same old school concept we learned from trees that lose their leaves every year and yet stand strong for better days coming their way.

We can’t always predict how things are going to work out in the future. We have to trust the process and count on our family & friends when time gets tough. These emotions sometimes also signal that it’s been long you haven’t had sufficient time to connect with yourself. Take a short trip or even a walk-in nature from hustles of everyday life and routine, it will provide you the clarity you have been searching for. We experience the feeling of loosing even because we have lived through so many hardships already be it the jobs we hate, the city we don’t like to fear of controlling life against what will it unfold. We get so mentally paralyzed, but what we actually need to be is persistent, and don’t allow negative thinking to pull us back. We simply have to do the best we can with what we’ve been given, and just try our hardest each day to live life according to our own principles and beliefs.

To Everything That I’ Have Lost… I Would Thank You For The Lessons And Experiences. From regrets and pain, I set you and I free to fade and be happy!

Transformation Called ‘You’!

As time passes on, we discover ourselves like a bit new, a bit mature or it might not even be wrong to say equally messed up in a new way!

As we continue to age, we are no longer same, it is a little wiser, a little of an idiot and more of conqueror version of us is what we see. I wake up every morning and I surprise myself. I wake up to new me and I am in love with the process of my development, not because the old me is bad; but, because, the old me can improve.

Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle

I feel so happy and proud of every individual out there who has taken absolute 100% responsibility of their life – be good, bad or ugly! Love yourself through the process of owning your story and it is going to be the bravest thing you will ever do. Trust me, straight or hassle free roads don’t make good drivers. Don’t be afraid to start over, for that’s not the start from scratch but from experience.

Enjoy the beauty of becoming! If nothing is certain, anything can be made possible. All the hardships, miseries, or things that broke you and every challenge you have faced – you have grown stronger, wiser and more compassionate. Do you recall the biggest challenge you faced this year? Prior to it, did you ever think you could survive that? Got your answer I suppose… Isn’t this something you felt proud about!

“My Interest in Life Comes From Setting Myself Huge, Apparently Unachievable Challenges, and Trying to Rise above Them” – Richard Branson

You are enough – a little more extra or not too much – but enough for yourself. Like Ellen DeGeneres quotes, “I enjoy growing older and wiser and learning from mistakes every single day”. You know the phase right now, maybe the toughest, feels we must quit; instead of thinking any of miseries why we do not accept it. Accept – then act. Whatever is going in present can be solved, just take time and rearrange. Take pride in battles fought and scars owned.

More than any recognition, acknowledge yourself! Be Proud of “Transformed You”, Wiser and Stronger! You are worthy of all your dreams!

If I knew what Love is?

Can Love for Years Be Forgotten in Hatred of Minutes?

People say stories of love end after getting closure. But do we ever stop loving someone you have loved before? – This question cloaked my mind when I was scrolling some random videos on Internet. I was amazed on how too many perspectives keep me wondering, from Adolescent Love, to Commitment, to priorities of ambition over emotions and what not. I think you would be wondering this too…

Here are some favorite abstracts from readers around which I am sure you will connect as well! Happy Reading!

“It‘s really nice when people say first love and all. But if that was the right person and you actually love the person then the person would be in your life still. If he/she is not in your life anymore means you need to rethink on the value of love that you said had given to the person. And in worst case scenario the two people are separated due to any circumstances then I guess it is human nature that eventually slowly you tend to forget their memories and build new memories with others. It is how the cycle of life goes on. A person doesn’t even remember what they had for lunch or dinner 2 days back. Well, it is just the mind and it is naturally how it works” – Labdhi Daftari

True, love is not only warmth; it’s beyond. Cheers to Mistakes, Regrets and Lessons Learnt.

“You Can’t. Love is not just being together, you can be in Love but not in Relationship.” – Bhumi Joshi

For emotions don’t mean to fade but realise that holding on means pain. Life is all about being ‘balancing’ – that priorities, that emotions and above all satisfaction of very being.

“Actually we can’t forgive the one we loved but it is all circumstances and depth of love and respect for that person” – Saloni Vadher

Living with and giving respect is all we need and be.

“It depends on people involved. Some people do fall out of love when the rush and excitement of being around their significant other fades. This might happen because the strong sense of love you felt for a person was based in sexual infatuation — which is still love, I would argue, but a lesser kind. For others, letting go of those feelings of love is harder, due to their background or their disposition. Some of us also unhealthy hold on to love in unhealthy ways, such as by continuing contact with the person after a relationship has ended, before lingering feelings have been resolved. And one more philosophy answer is, everything is depends on the situation of both person involved into and definitely love is not only defined in human it might be possible some people fall in love with their pet a lot.” – Sachin Kakkad

Love is perspective, needs attention and is definitely more than just a feeling.

“No one can stop loving whom they loved before, people just pretend that to feel” – Parth Joshi

Like we say, love never goes, the emotions become a hazy memory locked in heart.

“No, It is not much easy to forget the person whom we loved a lot” – Raj Joshi

“It doesn’t stop but fades gradually over the period of time” – Chirag Kalal

“Love shouldn’t stop for the spirit of humanity and friendship just equations and prorities change” – Parth Narania

“You never stop loving. Once you love someone honestly, truly, you will never be able to un-love them. You only find someone you will love more. At that time, your old love will not feel so strong, but it is a heart, it will never let you forget something that ever made you happy” – Kevin Mathew

This one happens to be my most favorite ideology of Love.

Well, love, how I see, is the gamble of priorities, emotions and perceive! Somewhere no one and nothing looses. It is simple Myntra of Life… It Goes On!

Something Positive Please!

I want to tell you a secret today, a great secret that will see you through all the trails life can offer. You must always remember this, “Have Courage, and Be Kind!”

We, the humans, have long forgotten the power of faith, love and hope; against the darkness of fear, failures and negativity. Believe in love, in existence of magic, in others, in yourself, and believe in your dreams; for if you won’t, who will? You can’t have a positive life with negative mind.

Almost every successful people begin with two beliefs: the future can be better than the present, and I have the power to make it so. The art is not seeing the world as it is, but to see how it can be – to do this all you need is courage, kindness and occasionally a bit of magic!

Be a Nice Human! For love and Kindness are never wasted. “Carry Out Random Act of Kindness, with No Expectation of Reward, Safe in the Knowledge that One Day Someone Might Do the Same for You” – Princess Diana

People should always remember that past cannot be changed and everyone’s journey is different. Opinions don’t define reality and judgments are a confession of character, so don’t over-think for it will only bring sadness. If you too believe that what goes around, comes around – well, stay positive and create because a smile is contagious and kindness is free. A positive attitude causes a chain of reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results.

Tell me this, how old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

What is your simple pleasure in life?

“It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary.” – Paulo Coelho.

How underrated is a hug from favorite person, a warm cup of coffee, or even a boop on nose of dog? I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary people that keep the darkness at bay! Small Acts of Kindness & Love! Everything in life is temporary. Be patient, be positive, and watch the endless amount of blessings you will receive. You will never regret being kind and passing affirmations.

Tell this to yourself everyday – I am Enough, I am Full of Sparkle & Compassion. I genuinely want to make the world a better place. I will practice kindness and have courage to work hard. I will make mistakes but importantly will own them. Sometimes I will make a lot of mistakes, but I will learn from them because I am Enough, I am Contented!

Let’s Talk Anxiety!

It is standard to feel anxious from time to time, especially if you live a stressful life. But for many people, anxiety is a constant companion, always lurking behind the next corner. An estimated 2-5% of the population is living with the constant worrying and panic attacks that define one of the most common mental illnesses: generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Millions more live with social anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and other anxiety conditions. However, too few people discuss these openly. Mental illness still has a social stigma, causing many people keep their condition a secret.

Anxiety Is Real, and It Is Serious!

Don’t think acceptance of stress or anxiety is stupid. It is the threshold from where the disorder may kick in. All of those intense feelings of fear or urge of escaping or running away; losing control of the thoughts and actions, hot or cold flashes, feeling numb, or irrational thoughts; all of these are physical, psychological and emotional symptoms of anxiety. Take a moment now, stop and thank yourself for how far you have come.

Sometimes when anxiety hits, it’s hard to see or think clearly, and you just need something to bring you back down to reality, to know you are in control, and that everything is okay. You have been trying to make changes in your life, and all your efforts count. Find acceptance within yourself! Here I suggest some immediate course of action –

Learn who are your support systems, connect to family and friends, try to communicate and notice the ones that care shall help you through. Realize you WANT to GET BETTER, if you not determined for YOUR better tomorrow, no one can help you out. This has to be your biggest realization that you need to want to get better. Happiness is NOT an achievable GOAL, don’t think that happiness was the goal and everything would be great if only you could be “happy” but happiness isn’t a constant state, it’s not something you can reach one day and then live in forever. Appreciate that life is up and down but also mediocre and that’s okay. Figure out WHAT YOU WANT, sometimes it takes completely losing control over your life to realize what it is you want and which changes you need to make. Self-care is NOT SELFISH, if you constantly keep putting the needs of others above your own and don’t take any time to look after yourself, you will burn out.

There are years that ask questions and years that answer! Be Solid on your End!

Please Note, in next blog we shall be discussing social anxiety and mental breakdown issues and how can you deal with it.Keep Reading! Stay Happy and Blessed!

What Matters? You!

Let me ask all of you a question, “YOU HAVE THIS ONE LIFE. How do you want to spend it? Apologizing? Regretting? Questioning? Hating Yourself? Dieting? Running behind people who DON’T see you?

I always get this question in my mind whenever somebody says “Life is Hard”, I am really tempted to know “Compared to what?” It took me around mid 20s of my age to realize that why do we worry about the world coming to an end today; it is already tomorrow in Japan and Australia.

In life, we all are free to choose, but we aren’t free from the consequences of our choice. Some choices will be good, some bad, and some of the worst choices might make good stories; but every choice shapes your future. So Cry, Forgive, Learn and Move On!

Never let a bad situation bring out the worst in you. Stop complaining about the things you are not willing to change. Remember, the first step in getting what you want is having the courage to get rid of what you don’t. You don’t become strongest when you show strength in front of others but when you win the battles no one knew anything about. I know all of us have a new adventure probably everyday that doesn’t only tears us apart, but shatters and drains us emotionally. But still, understand that you have to fight your own war and win; because all you did yesterday, all your scars, all your victories are already at stake. It’s just one more time in everyday life. This reminds me one of the quotes of Donald Trump, “If you’re going to be thinking, you may as well think big.” So, cultivate an optimistic mind, use your imagination, always consider alternatives, and dare to believe that you can make it possible.

There are mistakes we make in our lives that cannot be fixed. And despite our best efforts and our best intentions, there are people who sometimes will not forgive you. There are also things that we, in our own lives, cannot forgive in others. This is just part of the human experience.

Be wise enough to understand that not everything can be fixed, and then who are you going to be? Well, Be You! That’s all you can do, no matter how strong the current beats against you, or how heavy your burden, or how tragic your love story. YOU KEEP GOING!

For what is worth: I hope you are living a life, you’re proud of; and if not, I wish you all the strength it takes for you to start over!
